Wellington Creek Whiskey Sour
Ingredients
- 2 ounces Wellington Creek bourbon
- 3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
- 3/4 ounce simple syrup
- 1/2 orange wheel (for serving)
Directions
Place all ingredients in a mixing glass with 1 handful of ice and stir for 30 seconds. This chills the cocktail and dilutes it less than shaking in a cocktail shaker would. Strain into a glass, garnish with an orange twist.
Wellington Creek Bourbon Smash
Ingredients
- 2 ounces Wellington Creek bourbon
- 3/4 ounce simple syrup
- 3 lemon wedges
- 8 fresh mint leaves, plus 1 spring, for garnish
Directions
Place the mint leaves and sugar or simple syrup into a julep cup, collins glass, or double old-fashioned glass. Muddle well to dissolve the sugar and release the oil and aroma of the mint. Add the bourbon. Fill the glass with crushed ice and stir well until the glass becomes frosty. Garnish with a mint sprig. Serve with a straw and enjoy!
